Guest Speaker: Pastor Ben Pun
Lead Pastor at Anchor Community Church
Pastor Ben is originally from the Chicago area, but has lived in Houston, Boston, and Raleigh, NC. Pastor Ben went to Wheaton College (IL) for undergrad and received a M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (MA). Pastor Ben has been serving as the English Pastor at First Evangelical Church of Diamond Bar since 2011, which sent him out to plant Anchor in 2017. Before moving to California, he was an Assistant Pastor, a Youth Minister, and also an 8th-grade Science Teacher. He is married to Rachel, and has three children: Haley, Austin, and Abigail, and enjoys following his hometown Chicago sports teams, especially the Bears.
Worship Leader: Rudolpho Custodio
Worship Minister at Message of Peace Church
Rodolpho Custodio is a Brazilian worship minister, vocal producer, and vocal coach with over 20 years of experience in vocal music and worship ministry.
Throughout his career, Rodolpho has performed with several vocal groups and choirs in and outside of the church. He also received a scholarship to study Contemporary Vocal Arrangement at Berklee College of Music. Since 2021, he has served as Vocal Director at Message of Peace Church, where he leads the choir and ministers in worship.

The retreat will be over Labor Day weekend. Check-in will start on Saturday September 5, 2026 in the morning. Check-out will be after lunch on Monday, September 7, 2026.

There are two different types of housing options at the retreat center - lodges and cabins. For both lodges and cabins, the registration fee includes bedding, room, and meals for the duration of the retreat. For an adult, registering for a lodge will be $400 (the early bird rate is $300). Registering for a cabin comes to $300 (the early bird rate is $200). Children up to the age of 12 will cost $200 for a lodge (early bird rate is $125) or $150 for a cabin room (early bird rate is $75).

The main difference between a room in a lodge versus a cabin is that a lodge will be carpeted and the bathroom will be in the lodge, whereas a cabin will have hardwood floors, and there will be a shared detached bathroom for the occupants.

If the fees associated with the retreat will be a challenge for your family to pay, there is an option to request more information about requesting financial assistance on the Registration Questions step of the registration process. Please select βYesβ and we will follow up with you to see if you are eligible for assistance.

After you complete the registration, you will receive an email with a link to complete a liability form with the retreat center (Alliance Redwoods). Please note that Adults with Lodge boarding, please register under "Two Night Cabin Adult" on the Alliance Redwoods system. This will not affect your booking; we will ensure you receive the Lodge boarding.
Also, if you are receiving a scholarship or applying for financial assistance, please note that you do not need to process payment until after the subsidy has been applied to your total bill.
