The retreat will be over Labor Day weekend. Check-in will start on Saturday September 5, 2026 in the morning. Check-out will be after lunch on Monday, September 7, 2026.

There are two different types of housing options at the retreat center - lodges and cabins. For both lodges and cabins, the registration fee includes bedding, room, and meals for the duration of the retreat. For an adult, registering for a lodge will be $400 per person (the early bird rate is $300). Registering for a cabin costs $300 per person (the early bird rate is $200). Children up to the age of 12 will cost $200 for a lodge (early bird rate is $125) or $150 for a cabin room (early bird rate is $75).

The registration fee covers room, all meals, childcare, snacks, and a gift to be given at the end of the retreat. It also covers the cost associated with our main speaker, worship team, and workshop facilitators.

The main difference between a room in a lodge versus a cabin is that a lodge will be carpeted and the bathroom will be in the lodge, whereas a cabin will have hardwood floors, and there will be a shared detached bathroom for the occupants.

A lodge will house 4 people per room (double bunkbeds, sharing one sink, toilet, shower). These will be grouped by families, friends by gender, or random (if no preference indicated). Cabin assignments will be similar. If the cabin is larger, we may assign more people to the space.

If the fees associated with the retreat will be a challenge for your family to pay, there is an option to request more information about requesting financial assistance on the Registration Questions step of the registration process. Please select “Yes” and we will follow up with you to see if you are eligible for assistance.

You will be able to receive a refund if you cancel by email to silvia@sunset.life by July 31. If you used a credit card, you will be able to receive a refund minus the credit card processing fees. If you paid by cash or check, you will be able to receive a full refund.

After you complete the registration, you will receive an email with a link to complete a liability form with the retreat center (Alliance Redwoods). Please note that Adults with Lodge boarding, please register under "Two Night Cabin Adult" on the Alliance Redwoods system. This will not affect your booking; we will ensure you receive the Lodge boarding.

Also, if you are receiving a scholarship or applying for financial assistance, please note that you do not need to process payment until after the subsidy has been applied to your total bill.

Workshops are intended for all high school and older attendees to the retreat. Children will have a childcare program and the Junior High schoolers will have a separate program being managed by our guest Junior High speaker, Pastor Jerry Wong.
