Alpha Pregnancy Center (APC) supports moms and families throughout the entire pregnancy journey and after birth. During the month of August, Sunset will be holding a diaper drive to support APC. We are looking for the following donations:

• Diaper Sizes: 6, 7, 3T-4T, 4T-5T, 5T-6T

• Baby wipes

• Prenatal vitamins*

• Baby travel systems*

One of our supported cross-cultural workers will be sharing updates and having a Q&A on a Zoom prayer time that their friend is hosting. Breakout prayer groups will be available in both Cantonese and English. To receive the Zoom link, sign up online.

A men's fellowship group that meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. This potluck gathering focuses on building friendships among the men in the church, engaging in biblically informed discussions, and sharpening one another to become the kind of men God intends for us to be.

To the women of Sunset Church, join us for a fun, free, and faith-filled event where women of all ages can refresh their wardrobes and spirits! If you’d like to donate items for this clothing swap experience, please feel free to drop them off at the Sunset Church lobby before the event. (Drop off times: Sundays, 8/24, 8/31, 9/7).
Please only bring gently worn, laundered / clean, pre-loved women’s and kids’ clothes. Have nothing to swap? No problem! This event is about more than just fashion. It’s a beautiful opportunity to:

• Connect with other women

• Enjoy uplifting conversation and prayer

• Invite friends and family into a welcoming community

Bring a friend, bring a sister. All are welcome. Come as you are - and leave encouraged! Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.

Join Women’s Community Bible Study to see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Everyone is welcome to this interdenominational and intergenerational study. No previous Bible study experience necessary! Come study the Bible and enjoy small-group fellowship with women from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

1. Beginning September 2025, CBS will be studying Psalms.

All classes will be in person for women and children ages 6 months to 14 years.

Come join and hear about the Japan STM team's time in Japan and how God was able to use them to support one of our supported cross-cultural workers.

There is also an optional dinner for $5 per person.

Come and pray with us for our families, children of all ages, and grandchildren. We also pray for friends and neighbors in our communities and cities, as well as for the needs of those in our country and around the world. Join us as we bring our praises and prayer requests before our Heavenly Father!

Join our Africa Ministry for “Jook for Joy”, our first ever jook bar, as we learn more about Hands at Work in Africa and the community of Zimba in Zambia, as well as raise some funds to support the three essential services for the children there. You will also have the opportunity to pick up one or more prayer cards for the children and care workers in Zimba. We look forward to you joining us for this yummy event!

You can assist in establishing an entertaining and captivating environment for children, enabling them to learn about the Bible and grow in their faith. Additionally, if you possess technical skills or are willing to learn, consider operating the camera for our online services. If you have any experience with music/singing, we encourage you to consider joining our worship team. Whatever your strengths or interests may be, there is a place for you on one of our teams.
